What you are not signing up for.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account. Works 100% offline. There is nothing to sign up for and no server to talk to — your sessions, plants and streaks live only on your device. Focus Garden has no “limited mode” to fall into, because it was never online in the first place.

What permissions does it ask for?

One permission, ever. Notifications — and only if you opt in, for bloom and streak reminders. No usage access, no overlays, no accessibility hooks, no battery exemptions. The app works fully with the permission denied.

What happens if I get distracted mid-session?

Your plants never die. Step away and your plant droops — honestly, gently — and perks up when you return. Even a given-up session is kept as a pressed, grayed specimen in your garden until you choose to compost it. No skeletons, no guilt.

Is this another subscription?

Lifetime option — no subscription trap. Greenhouse is weekly or yearly if you like subscriptions, or €39.99 once if you don’t — same unlocks either way. The free tier is a real garden on its own: unlimited focus sessions, forever.

The short version

  • No accounts — nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into.
  • No analytics, no ads, no tracking — none, anywhere.
  • All data stays on your device — sessions, plants and streaks never leave it.
  • One permission, opt-in — notifications, only if you ask for reminders.
  • Nothing is shared with third parties — one exception, only if you choose to pay: Google Play Billing.
  • No cloud sync — the app has no servers at all.

What Focus Garden collects

Nothing. Focus Garden does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. There is no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking — in the app, or on this website.

Purchases

If you buy Greenhouse, Google Play processes the payment. Focus Garden never sees your card number, name, or billing details. The app stores one thing: a local on/off flag that premium is active, kept in the same on-device storage as everything else. Restore works through your Google account on Play — still no Focus Garden account, still no servers of ours.

Where your data lives

Your focus sessions, grown plants, and streak history are stored only in the app’s private storage on your own device — Android app-local storage (Jetpack DataStore preferences and local files), nothing else. This data never leaves your device, because the app has no servers to send it to.

Permissions

Focus Garden requests exactly one permission: notifications, and only if you opt in. Notifications deliver two kinds of gentle reminders: when a plant blooms, and daily streak reminders. You can grant or revoke this at any time in Android system settings, and the app works fully without it.

Third parties

One, only if you choose to pay: Google Play Billing processes purchases. Everything else stands — no analytics companies, no advertisers, no data brokers. Your data never leaves your device, so there is nothing to sell, share, or leak.

Cloud sync

There is no cloud sync. Focus Garden has no servers and no account system, so there is nothing to sync and nowhere to sync it to.

Deleting your data

Uninstall the app — or clear its storage in Android settings — and everything goes with it: all sessions, plants, and streaks are permanently removed. No copies exist anywhere else.

This website

This site practices what it preaches: it sets no cookies, runs no JavaScript, loads no webfonts, and phones home to no one. The few images here are served from this same site — nothing is fetched from anywhere else.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date above. Given how little it says, changes will be rare.
