Fair terms, plainly written.

The agreement

By installing or using Focus Garden: Study Timer (“the app”), you agree to these terms. The app is a focus timer for personal use: you plant a seed, it grows while you focus, and it joins your garden when it blooms. The free tier — unlimited focus sessions, two species, 10/25-minute durations, the Verdant Mind theme, 9 garden slots — is free forever, no purchase necessary.

Greenhouse subscriptions

Greenhouse is the optional premium tier, available in three ways:

• Weekly — €4.99/week, after a 3-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid weekly subscription unless you cancel in Google Play before it ends.
• Annual — €29.99/year (about €0.58/week), billed once per year.
• Lifetime — €39.99 once, a single one-time payment.

All three unlock exactly the same features: all 20 species plus early access to new drops, all durations (10/25/45/60/90 minutes), all themes, unlimited garden slots, and full stats. Prices are shown by Google Play in your local currency at purchase time; regional pricing and applicable taxes are set and collected by Google Play.

Auto-renewal and cancellation

Weekly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Google Play (Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Greenhouse until the end of the period you already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription — only Google Play can do that.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policies — request one via your Play Store order history or at play.google.com. Focus Garden cannot issue refunds directly, because it never processes your payment and never sees your card or billing details.

Lifetime purchase

Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase managed by Google Play and tied to your Google Play account. It does not renew and never expires: any device signed into that Play account can restore Greenhouse, with no Focus Garden account involved. If Google Play itself becomes unavailable to you, or your Play account is closed, the lifetime purchase cannot be transferred elsewhere — it lives and dies with the Play account.

Restoring purchases

Reinstalling, switching phones, or wiping a device never loses a purchase: on launch, the app asks Google Play what you own and re-enables Greenhouse automatically. This works through your Google account on Play — still no Focus Garden account, still no servers of ours.

No account, on-device data

Focus Garden has no account system and no servers. Your sessions, plants, streaks and settings live only in the app’s private storage on your device. Uninstalling the app — or clearing its storage — deletes them permanently, and we cannot recover them, because no copy exists anywhere else. Purchases are the exception: they restore through Google Play, as described above.

Fair use and the usual legal lines

The app is for personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t misuse it, redistribute it as your own, or interfere with Google Play’s billing. The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by the law that applies to you. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
